For the woman who knows how to relax, many a nail-polished hand has
reached for a glass of sangria. For the woman who knows how to party,
margaritas are a year-round favorite. For the woman who wants it all,
there’s the Sangria Swirl.
“The Sangria Swirl has got the kick of a
margarita, but it’s offset by the sweet flavor from the sangria,” said
El Paso bartender Chad Jones. “It’s like sitting on a Mexican beach with
your lover eating a bowl of fruit.”
The drink tastes like a tart smoothie with
a slight citrus-and-liquor kick, and would be the perfect weapon in the
war to stay cool during the summer while on furlough by a swimming pool.
“It’s a really good summer drink,” Jones
said. “It tastes like a frozen Sweet Tart.”
A cowboy-sized serving of the Sangria Swirl
will set you back $7.50 at El Paso, 4921 E. Ray Road, but it’s
certainly worth it. Just watch out for a brain freeze.
